Just moved to a new place and wanted 20th Century was recommended to me for heating and AC maintenance. I wanted to have the system tuned before the summer heat hit, so I opted for their annual maintenance plan. Daniel showed up and immediately got to work. He gave the AC system a good tune-up and it is running much quieter now. Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy about upselling. Mini Split System Passed Inspection
We were thinking about getting a multi-zone mini split AC system installed before the summer, so we reached out to a few companies, and Ryan from 20th Century Air came to our house for a thorough estimate within a day or two. We received the pricing within a few hours, and it was very competitive, so we ended up going with 20th Century Air over a few competing bids.
We scheduled the installation for the next week, and Robert, the point person for the job, and his crew completed the 4-zone system installation in less than two days. The installation looks very clean, and the indoor heads are less obtrusive than I thought they would be. 20th Century Air also handled the permitting process, and they were careful to ensure that the work is up to code for our city (Long Beach).
The mini split system has been working great and just passed inspection by the city with no issues, so we couldn't be happier with our experience with 20th Century Air!

20th Century Air is a very good company and very professional. We emailed them at 6 p.m. to request Freon AC, they responded very quickly and set an appointment for the next day. They gave us the breakdown of the service fee and how much it would estimate. The technician, Juan, came to check our AC and found out only the breaker was off and we didn't need Freon charging. The Epitome of Teamwork
The salesmen that meet you to discuss a system with you are often the technicians that work on these systems, so they know what they’re talking about. They work very closely with the installation teams. I purchased one of the new HVAC systems that was multi-zoned using one main compressor unit where each room in the house was controlled by its own thermostat (not a mini split system). This system was highly technical and required technicians working alongside installers for two days to complete the installation. The 20th Century Air team showed up on time, and exhibited the epitome of teamwork to complete this difficult installation. All the while, Julie, back at the main office, kept in touch with me to make sure I was informed and to schedule my training with the technician, Ryan Hall. Ryan is very knowledgeable of this system and explains the ins and outs of how to use this complex system in plain, simple-to-understand terms. We love working with 20th Century Air. They are not the cheapest on the block, but in this instance, you truly get what you pay for and there is true value in what you do pay. I have never regretted my decision.
